When she's not working or podcasting, Michelle enjoys drinking mules with friends, hosting a weekly reading hour, playing Plants Vs. Zombies 2, going for a wee little run, or watching TV with her fiancé Connor.

Ryder Guido is the second half of the Death of the Author duo. He is currently earning an M.A. in English Studies at the University of Louisville, where he also works as a part time lecturer. This is why he is so bad at getting episodes out on time, though he knows that is no excuse.

His favorite recent books have been Martyr by Kaveh Akbar, The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison, and Artificial: A Love Story by Amy Kurzweil. He also has creative publications in Belmont Literary Journal and the zine Bad Limp.
When he isn't working or podcasting, Ryder enjoys playing Mario Party, getting unreasonably angry about playing Mario Party, walking to local restaurants in Louisville, gossiping about his classes with co-workers, and working on his first novel, which he swears is coming out eventually.
